Every year Hundreds of baseball players come to the United States to try to make a good career and a better life. These people come from the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Mexico, and elsewhere, but baseball still welcomes them. Many of these people don’t know English that well. The Arizona law is going to take effect on baseball. So if you look like an immigrant than you won’t be allowed to play for the baseball team.

Two Mexicans joined the federal lawsuit. The federal lawsuit seeks to stop the Arizona law from taking effect in July. They are concerned of being pulled over by the police because they travel a lot. The two Mexican’s names are Jesus Cuauhtemoc Villa and Vicki Gaubeca. They are both U.S. citizens but they don’t carry their documents when they travel. That’s why they joined the federal lawsuit.

This law allows the police to stop people and ask them for their license. It makes the police have to question about the women’s or men’s immigration status. This law is putting pressure on illegal immigrants and is making them, forcefully, leave the country. Chavez said his clients are able to put the law on a hold until 2012.

The white house is struggling to get winning support from key Republicans for the immigration reform. 11 Republicans voted for the immigration reform, back in 2006. Barrack Obama gave each of those eleven people a call to see if they are still with those votes. Six other Republican senators voted for the immigration Reform in 2006.

The Mexican government warned its citizens to be careful when visiting Arizona. Arizona has a new law that if you look like an immigrant, the police could stop you and ask you if you have your papers. ‘ “We are making a strong call to the Arizona government to retract this regressive and racist law that’s impacting not only residents of Arizona, but people in all 50 states and in Mexico as well,” said Raul Murillo.’ (Quote taken from website.)

This affects the world because, immigrants who started a new life and feel safe are not going to feel safe anymore. I think this law is racist because the police are going to ask random people that “look” like immigrants and ask them for their papers.

An Iranian cleric says that women that don’t wear appropriate clothes and act promiscuously are to blame for earthquakes. These women lead men astray and make the spreading of adultery. Doing this increases earthquakes. People in the Islamic Republic have to cover them selves completely, from head to toe. Young women ignore this law and wear tight clothing such as tight coats and scarves. They don’t like to disappoint God. “We cannot invent a system that prevents earthquakes, but God has created this system and that is to avoid sins, to pray, to seek forgiveness, pay alms and self-sacrifice,” Mahsooli said.” (Quote from the website.)

People that are opponents of the Health Care Reform and Government spending are Tea Party members. It is more popular than the Democrats and the Republicans. There was a poll, the voters have favorable opinions about the Tea Party. The vote percentages are: 41% for the Tea Party, 35% for the Democrats, and 28% for the Republicans. This shows how angry Americans are. “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough said, “The parties are dying.”

This affects the world because Barrack Obama just tried to help everyone. Not everyone can afford Medicine, because it’s expensive. That’s where the Health Care Reform helps people with medical issues. Barrack Obama is just trying to help us, but some people disagree.

Mitt Romney wrote a blog saying that “President Obama has betrayed his oath to the nation rather than bringing us together, ushering in a new kind of politics and rising above raw partisanship, he has succumbed to the lowest denominator of incumbent power: justifying the means by extolling the ends. He promised better; we deserved better.” Romney is the Governor provided his residents with the help they needed, he used many of the same policies that the democrats used.
